Position Title:  Warehouse AssociateDepartment: Operations
Reports to:  Warehouse SupervisorClassification:  Non-Exempt

Primary Function:

To participate in the receipt, storage, loading, unloading, inventory, and value-added packaging services. 

Essential Position Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading trailers
  • Utilize inventory management system/scanners.
  • Assist in maintaining warehouse and related tools/equipment in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
  • Safe operation of fork lift and manual pallet jack.
  • Other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Forklift certification.
  • Perform basic mathematical skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and take direction.
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous knowledge of inventory management systems/scanners.
  • Fork lift and manual pallet jack experience prefered. 

Physical Requirements:

  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity, and cold.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs.
  • Bend/twist, climb, stoop/squat.
  • Regularly stand, walk, sit for extended periods of time.
