Mark Andrews is an industry veteran who joined Cargo Integrated Logistics as Vice President of Logistics Solutions in 2013. Mark’s experience spans 30+ years in various transportation and distribution roles. A native of Akron, OH, Mark studied Business Administration with an emphasis on Management and Marketing at Bowling Green State University in OH and The University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. By accepting roles with increasing leadership responsibilities, his career has taken him from Tucson, AZ to Las Vegas, NV, Phoenix, AZ, Sacramento, CA, Charlotte, NC, and Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati, OH. Prior to joining Cargo Integrated Logistics, he spent the previous 11 years working for major, asset-based warehousing and packaging third party logistics market leaders in Charlotte and Cincinnati.
Mark maintains strong industry connections and has held various leadership roles within the logistics industry including President and Chairman for the North Carolina League of Transportation and Logistics (NCLTL), and currently serves on the Board of Governors. He also presently serves on the Advisory Board for the Associated Warehouses (AWI). Additionally, he is active with the Warehouse Education and Research Council (WERC), Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), National Small Shipment Traffic Council (NASSTRAC), and American Trucking Association (ATA). In 2013, he also joined Distributors & Consolidators of America (DACA) and International Warehousing Logistics Association (IWLA).
Mark is also involved in youth programs in his community. Mark was an Assistant Den Leader with the Sherrills Ford Pack #327 Cub Scouts, and continues today as a Scout Leader with the Sherrills Ford Catawba County Troop #327 Piedmont Council Boy Scouts of America. Mark has also volunteered with the Sherrills Ford Optimist Club, a non-profit organization providing community support and sports programs for local youth. He served on the board as Vice President and has coached many youth baseball, softball, and basketball teams.
Mark is passionate about customer service and training, and is dedicated to deliver excellence, enhanced relationships, and superior customer service.
